Buying books online or in bookstore?

Image
For the truth, I'll admit, I am not a bookaholic (they are pretty cool, aren't they?). During my teenage years, I had preferred comics rather than novels. Despite the fact that how lazy I was that day, my passion for books was triggered by my elder cousin who spent most of his free time to read. His little brother started to mimic him by going through some pages everyday, accomplishing one or two books every month. Eventually buying books has became an indispensable part of my monthly activities. Last weekend, I found some good stories of a Japanese author, Yashushi Kitagawa, at Nha Nam bookstore near my apartment. The store's brand is among the most favorite booksellers in Hanoi where we can find various kinds of books for all ages. Last month, instead of going to a store, I ordered some paperbacks online via a sale promotion program on tiki's Website. A suprisingly difficult interview

Last Tuesday, I had a job interview at Hanoi office of G Corp. which is the leading E-sports development business. The headhunter contacted via Linkedin and invited me to join the first paper exam last month. After being qualified the 1st round, she set me up an interview with a senior engineer who has experienced company's work for years. On the contrary, the preparation time gave me an inspiration to write about the other aspect of interview. It is obviously amazing if someone passes those challenges, but what if somebody fails? In this post, I concentrate more on the bright side of failure. Not relevant at all. I am enjoying football at LG... First, interviews are a great opportunities to r...

To continue the series about my hometown, I would like to write a short article about Vinh train station. This idea popped out of my head when I was waiting for my train which rode me back to Hanoi after five days break. Welcome to Vinh train station As you already know, my hometown is located in the North Central of Vietnam which is a six-hour train ride from Hanoi capital. Vinh station is placed right on the North-to-South railway route. There are many beautiful and historical places of interest around the city such as Cua Lo beach. So it is obvious that the station generally got high visit frequency of passengers and packets, especially on holidays. I am living in Hanoi which is in the Northern area, but actually the first time I have ever taken a train is heading to the South when I was at 11 th grade and went to Danang for joining the Youth Informatic Competition which is also an unforgetable memory. The endless rail-lines to the North... and to the So...
